"Saddle! who needs a saddle?" Aristole grinned and jumped up behind the saddle into a more comfortable place behind the shoulder blades far enough back so that he wouldnt interfer with the movements on Scarlets front leg but far enough forward so he wouldnt get in the way of her wings. he then leaned against a spike and settled down for the flight.

Drake shrugged as he sat at the base of the back of Scarlet's neck. OK, Scarlet I guess we're ready. Then patting her neck once more he readied himself for the flight. Soon all of his joy would emerge from inside himself once the hit the skies.

Scarlet nodded and began running, spreading her wings out. When she was going fast enough to take flight, she flapped powerfully, lifting into the air and doing a few spirited spirals. Hang on! she told Drake, doing a flip and watching to make sure neither of them fell off. I haven't gotten to fly with you in a long time, so don't expect me to go slow.

Drake smiled as he enjoyed the flight. We'll do Scarlet we'll do. Happily he welcomed the rush of air and sense of adventure. Together they melded almost becoming one as they reached the sky.
